Since then, the company has grown to become the Carolina’s #1 source for compressed air services and sales. Featured here is “Billy,” the company mascot, illustrated by Shift’s Gary Upham.

A leader in materials handling design and engineering, Greenville’s Automation Engineering Company first reached out to Shift in 2012 to collaborate on brand positioning concepts. Over the years, we developed the logo, website, collateral and dozens of short videos, including the one linked here … demonstrating a pipe stenciling technology for the OCTG industry.

Recruitment Campaign

Clarkson Industrial (acquired by Beck & Pollitzer) was Shift’s initial entrée into the industrial marketing segment. Based in Spartanburg, Clarkson offered large equipment installation specialist offering precision millwright and rigging services, plant relocation and dismantlement, along with heavy machine moving. Filmed in 2012, this video was used on LinkedIn in building the company image and attracting tradesmen seeking new opportunities.

Orangeburg-based Cox Industries was a pioneer in the treated outdoor wood products for residential, commercial, industrial and utility segments. The Cox Wood Innovation Series, called “IdeaStream,” was designed as part of a campaign launch for an employee idea submission program.

Culp Home Fashions

Plant Tour

As a global supplier of innovative mattress and upholstery fabrics around the world, Culp brings four decades of technical expertise and southern hospitality. This video was developed to tell the Culp story and provide a virtual plant tour for customers, especially during the 2020 pandemic shutdown. We shot video at both the Stokesdale and High Point, NC plants.

Hot Wound Coil Continuous Processing

A worldwide leader in manufacturing engineered hot wound coil springs for a variety of industrial applications, Duer Carolina Coil (now MW Components) worked with Shift from 2011– 2016 to develop a website, brochures and a video series. With over 10,000 views, this video explores the advantages of continuous processing over traditional batch processing methodologies.

Company Overview

Birmingham-based Earl Dudley, LLC is one of the Southeast’s leading providers of surveying, mapping, industrial and construction measurement instruments. Specialties include UAV Mapping, 3D Laser Scanning and GNSS. Filmed at various project sites around Birmingham, including the new Protective Stadium, this video features company CEO Adam Arrington discussing company culture and capabilities.

Eldeco

The Power of Safe Choices

Within the electrical contracting segment, nothing is more important than the safety of workers and workplace. Eldeco commissioned Shift to create this series of videos that tells the story of “The Power of Safe Choices” from the points of view of electrical tradesmen from the company’s four offices in the Southeast. In addition to video work, Shift maintained the Eldeco website and managed social platforms.

ICE Recycling

Partnership with Culp Home Textiles

Since 2008, ICE has applied Industrial Conservation Engineering to help manufacturing companies become better environmental stewards. This video tells the story of how ICE worked with Culp Home Fashions to achieve “Landfill Free” status for its Stokesdale, NC manufacturing facility. The video draws upon management teams at Culp and ICE for unique insights into this endeavor.

JPS Composite Materials

Company Overview Video

JPS Composite Materials is an ISO-9001 certified U.S.-based weaver of composite materials are used extensively in composite reinforcing, thermal and sound insulation, safety and ballistic protection and filtration applications. Filmed in plants located in the Carolinas, this video was used for more than five years in positioning the company’s capabilities. Shift developed the JPSCM website also provided public relations services.

Greenville’s Industrial Growth Potential

With more than 40 years in the industrial segment, Randall Bentley, CCIM / SIOR and Broker in Charge at Lee & Associates Greenville-Spartanburg has assembled one of the Upstate’s most accomplished commercial real estate teams. Edited from an interview with Randall in 2021, this video provides a look at the dynamics driving Greenville’s rapid growth, with an emphasis on the area’s unique potential as a hub for industrial properties.

Marsh Bell Construction Company

Website

A trusted general contractor in the Upstate since 1984, Marsh Bell engaged with Shift to capture the firm’s strategic direction with an innovative new website. Launched in the Fall of 2022, the site explains how Marsh Bell partners with business owners to evaluate land suitability, overall project feasibility, specific areas of potential concern and, ultimately, a positive construction experience. Shift is also active with the client in video production, project photography and public relations.

Master Power Transmission

Fortis MXD Gear Reducer Introduction

Long known for some of the industry’s most rugged, power dense gearboxes, Greenville-based Master Power Transmission took on the challenge of designing the highest quality shaft mount gear reducer in the market with the advent of Fortis MXD. Filmed on location the company’s Columbus, IN plant, this video features Michael Cinquemani and Ryan Roberson explaining how Master PT acquired the product line, redesigned it for improved durability and performance, and is manufacturing it from the ground up. The current Master Power Transmission website was developed by Shift.

Company Overview Video

With a 200-year story to tell, Scovill remains an industry leader in the manufacturing of apparel and light industrial fasteners. Filmed at the company manufacturing facility in Clarkesville, GA, this video gives a fast-paced overview of capabilities and commitment to quality.

NEXTEC Plastic Machinery

Fortis MXD Gear Reducer Introduction

Formed in 2022, NEXTEC brings a full scope of technology solutions and deep industry experience to Southeast-based plastics manufacturers seeking a competitive edge in injection molding, extrusion, automation, assembly and auxiliary equipment. Shift designed and developed the company website, and will be producing informational videos for the company’s social media program.

Stevens Aerospace

One of the five largest aviation MROs in the U.S., Greenville-based Stevens Aerospace selected Shift to document the company’s first-ever refurbishment of a Gulfstream G-IV with a video in 2017. That launched a six-year relationship that has produced more than a hundred videos and has seen Stevens’ YouTube following exceed 1000 subscriptions. The video linked here was created to announce the opening of Stevens’ large-cabin facility in Macon, GA. It still stands as one of our favorite pieces in the way it captures the elegance and power of aviation. Over the span of our relationship, Shift has developed company brochures, national advertising, PR compositions and other assignments.

Project Overview

Spartanburg-based Tindall Precast works with architects to engineer and manufacture high quality, innovative precast structures from concept to completion. Filmed in New Orleans, this video features lead architect Jose Alvarez discussing a unique, award-winning parking deck that showcases Tindall’s aesthetic capabilities.

Complex Assembly Capabilities

Shift began working with Wilbert Plastics in 2017, developing an innovative new website (visit https://wilbertplastics.com) and creating videos that showcase the company’s expertise in engineering, manufacturing and painting. Our travels have taken us to the three plants in the Carolinas, as well as Wilbert’s massive thermoforming facility in White Bear Lake, MN. Municipal Multi-Stream Recycling Facility

Few know that one of the leading experts on the design, fabrication and performance of expansion joints for large paper, pulp and power plants is based right here in Greenville, SC. Founded in 1999, Zepco travels the country to provide engineering consultation, repair and new designs in this highly specialized field. Shift created the website more than ten years ago.
